Hello members,  I am a long time resident of Mobile and enjoy fishing the bay and inland areas for redfish, speckle trout, flounder; rivers and lakes for bass and crappie.  I have fished very little over the past 20 years but, I'm getting ready to retire soon and plan to return to fishing for enjoyment when the mood strikes.  Maybe a little golfing when the fishing is no-so-good.  I recently purchased a new boat and I'm really looking forward to being on the water again catching nice fish.  The Mobile Saltwater Fishing Club seems to be a great place to share fishing information and learn new tips.

Thanks to all!

'My boat is a 2016 XPress 17' with a 50 Yamaha.  It's a stay in close boat; not good for the gulf. That looks like a really nice red (?) you're holding in the photo!  Many years ago, I fished for redfish around the Wolf Bay area in Orange Beach.  Much has changed since then.  I hardly recognize the place now. Current redfish tips and location hints are most appreciated.  Thanks!
