Looking through the knot reference link for a few new ones and found out I told a mistruth.
The trilene knot it shows is very different indeed as it wraps the line not the hook. It took me 30 years to be corrected I guess, but I couldnt find the knot I taught ya last trip. I will work on Identifying it today as my plans have all been rained out.
The Trilene knot and the cinch(improved) are basically the same knot.
If you are tying a hook to a line use the snell with the line exiting the hook on the side of the curve(point).
The snell is an extremely good knot for circles when tied correctly,

It is similar to snell but exits the eyelet of hook instead of going through the loop. Remember the eagle claw hooks in shrinkwrap pkg with a 10-12" leader attached?? this is same knot again very close to snell just slight diff.
