Life Is Too Short, Break The Rules, Forgive Quickly, Kiss Slowly, Love Truly, Laugh Uncontrollably, And Never Regret Anything That Made You Smile. Life May Not Be The Party We Hoped For, But While We're Here, We Should Dance...
I hate to repeat myself, but I am completely sick of this winter.
At least my family back up in PA can go ice fishing, skiing or snowmobiling. Down here, we're stuck in purgatory: hunting season is over but its been too cold & rainy to fish.
Only good thing to be said is thankfully we aren't in B'ham or Atlanta.

One of Bill's brothers retired from the Navy last month and got a job in B'ham. He lives in Cullen and lost power this morning just after they got 10 inches of snow. To think he has been stationed in DC and Norfolk for more than half his service time. I guess it feels like a normal winter to him.
When I was young (50 years ago) I used to bass fish with jigs and pork around the cypress in this type of weather. Had to stick the rod in the water sometimes to get the ice off. Too old for that now.
I do recall some deer hunters built a fire and were huddling around it. So were the dogs. I guess they were waiting for the deer to huddled up too.
