BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) The Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) and the Baldwin County Health Department issued a notice on Thursday morning that at least 50,000, and possibly up to 74,999 gallons, of sewage have spilled into Bear Creek in Gulf Shores.
ADEM listed the exact location of the spill at the end of Heron Cove Lane. The department said the spill was ongoing at the time this story was posted.
The spill was reported to ADEM by South Alabama Utilities Services at the Fort Morgan Treatment Plant.
